What about my privacy?

Can anyone join The Ploom Community?

Participation in The Ploom Community is by invitation only. 

I agreed to participate in The Ploom Community, but have not received any invitations to participate in research. Why is that?

We are sorry to hear you have not received any invitations to participate in research yet, there are several possible causes:

    1. You have not finished setting up your profile. Please try to fill in all the fields in your profile page. By doing so, this means there is more information to match you to specific research criteria, allowing us to send surveys which are relevant to you.
    2. Not everyone is invited to each survey. For some questionnaires, participants must meet a specific profile (for example, region or age).
    3. If you have never received a activity invitation, please check the email address you provided when registering. You can edit your email address on your profile page.
    4. E-mails may be stopped by a spam filter. Emails to questionnaires are always sent from Crowdtech.com so please ensure that this email address is not considered a junk mail sender, and make sure that this email address is included as an allowed sender on the desired mail list.

Do I need special software to participate?

No, you don't need any special software. All you need is access to the Internet and your own e-mail address so that we can invite you to the questionnaire by e-mail.

When will I receive my vouchers/incentive?

In the event that we offer any incentives on the Ploom Community, please allow up to 4 weeks after the objective has been completed for the incentive to be sent.

For example…

  • If an incentive is for the completion of a specific survey, the incentive will be sent within 4 weeks of the date you complete that survey.
  • If the incentive is for continued membership (i.e. 6 months post initial sign-up), the incentive will be sent within 4 weeks of you reaching the specified length of time.
  • If the incentive is for completing a specified number of surveys (i.e. 5 surveys), the incentive will be sent within 4 weeks of you completing the final survey.

How long do I have to complete the questionnaire?

You can complete the questionnaires at a time that suits you best, however, please note that certain questionnaires will need to be completed within specific time periods, ranging from a few days to several weeks.

How long does it take to complete the questionnaire?

The length of the questionnaire varies by topic. We always try to keep the questionnaire as short as possible. On average, a questionnaire will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.

How often do I receive a questionnaire?

We are conscious not to overload you with too many questionnaires, so you will receive up to 2 invites per month.

Am I obliged to participate in all questionnaires?

No, of course not, participation is not compulsory. If you don't have time or have no desire to fill out the survey, then you do not need to.

What happens to the results?

The results of the questionnaires will be used to drive Ploom Community future projects and innovation. We will also feedback the results within our Community.

I’ve been invited to a questionnaire but the link does not work?

We are sorry to hear your link does not open. Please copy the link from the invitation email to the address bar of your internet browser. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact our support department via ploomcommunity@panel.mwm2.nl.

I have a new email address, what should I do?

You can modify your email address on your own profile page.

I want to unsubscribe from The Ploom Community, what should I do?

We are sorry to see you go. You can unsubscribe after logging in via the unsubscribe section of your account.
